Puff Purse

After coveting this pattern for a while, I finally bit the bullet, so to speak, and ordered a puff purse pattern from Melbourne girl Nicole Mallalieu. It very swiftly arrived the next day, but I have only just found time today to whip one up.
I've used some Japanese Kimono fabric offcuts, given to me as a (months early) birthday present from a friend. Really, the hardest part of this whole process was choosing the fabric! The pattern is well written, with handy tips and suggestions thrown in along the way.
The purse is blog-ready, but not yet complete. I've just finished gluing the fabric to the frame, when it dries I'll get on to the hand sewing.

I'm not sure who'll get this particular one, but I'll definitely be making more for Christmas!

That's such a nice purse. I like the fabric you have used. Is that the sort of purse frame that you can also bead?

I was wondering how you attach it to the frame - didnt realise glue was involved. That is so pretty, I think I might head over to Nicole's site and order me a little belated birthday present to myself
